Our Funding Priorities

  • Applications from Falmouth individuals and organizations

  • First time applicants and new project ideas

  • Projects that are free or low-cost ($5 - $10; children free)

  • Events that take place in all the villages of Falmouth

  • Projects that demonstrate community support that includes prior approval of a named venue

  • Programs that support diverse cultural needs of our underserved populations or support diverse forms of cultural activities

    • BIPOC

    • People with disabilities

    • LGBTQ+

    • Non-English speaking community members

    • Families and children; teens, seniors, single adults

Our Programming Priorities

All Projects are welcome. However, based on responses to our community survey, we encourage applications in the following areas:

  • Community-wide fairs and festivals

  • Children’s and school programs

  • Projects serving underserved populations

  • Concerts and dance performances

  • Theater, comedy, spoken word, and storytelling

  • Projects celebrating local history

  • Projects celebrating cultural diversity

  • Library programs and events

  • Fine and applied art classes, exhibits and receptions

  • Science and nature educational programs
