Vocalist-educator Candida Rose will present KabuMerikana—The Sum of US: Exploring the Cabo Verde/United States Musical Connection and Legacy. This FREE event with include a presentation of Cape Verdean musical history and a concert with the KabuJazz Ensemble. KabuMerikana is a collaborative project with the Cape Cod Cape Verdean Museum and Cultural Center and received a grant from the Falmouth Cultural Council.
